Is there a way to repair a foundation chain in an old afghan? I have one that our grandmother made and I am not sure how to repair it. There are about 8 stitches missing. I have the loops from the second row but would love some guidance on how to repair the foundation row.

The tutorial goes over this the thread has to be in place first ( weave in) then you crochet it is easily fixed

I recently received some items from my mom that was 90 years old that belong to her mother. They are in need of repair and was hoping you could tell me of someone in my area that did vintage repairs

I have the exact same afghan as pictured but it is horribly stained but this has given me hope that perhaps I could undo the damaged sections and rework them.
